AFL-CIO  Energy Policy

The AFL-CIO has expressed a great deal of concern about the nation's energy policy, with statements at nearly every convention since the oil embargo in 1973. These statements  put forth detailed recommendations for improving conservation and developing new energy supplies, as well as ensuring adequate supplies of conventional fuels.
